If You Ever Love
Adelino L. Masigla
Please listen for awhile,
And please hear all my pleas.
Oh it has been too long, since I have been in tears,
Weeping the nights over, thy charm I can’t resist,
In need for thy pity, with hope for thee to ease,
My pains sorrow and grief, before I lose my breath.
I wish before I lie, and rest upon my grave,
You fill this empty heart, with smiles and cheerful bliss,
Should this be done I know, this life shall no more end,
For it shall be heaven, to be in thy embrace.
Now if you ever love,
I pray I’m worth thy praise.
